Luxury Vehicles Stolen in Overnight Arlington Heights Dealership Burglary

Arlington Heights, IL — Authorities are investigating a bold early morning burglary at a luxury car dealership in Arlington Heights, where thieves made off with three high-end vehicles after breaking in through a glass window.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Autos of Chicago dealership located at 77 Rand Road. Surveillance footage obtained by police shows at least four suspects gaining entry by smashing a window, then ransacking the dealership for about 20 minutes before driving off with three vehicles: a BMW, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Bentley.

Owner Chris Karsos told ABC7 Chicago that the suspects appeared methodical, appearing to know the layout of the showroom and moving quickly once inside. The theft has rattled the dealership, which prides itself on serving high-end clients throughout the Chicago area.

“It’s a very sick feeling, especially when you come in the next day and you see a hole in the wall and glass everywhere,” said Karsos.

Arlington Heights police are actively reviewing the footage and working with other local departments to identify the suspects and recover the stolen cars. No injuries were reported, and investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.

This incident follows a regional trend of coordinated auto thefts targeting luxury dealerships across the Chicagoland area.
