An Evanston man, Jamal T. Sutton Malone, 31, has been charged with felony criminal damage after allegedly throwing a rock through a window at the Palatine Metra station Sunday night. Police heard glass shattering during a foot patrol on West Wood Street around 9:30 p.m. and found Malone standing next to the broken window. He was arrested and released, with a court appearance set for Jan. 30.
