A Wheeling man, Alan I. Diaz-Suarez, 37, has been charged with two counts of felony predatory criminal sexual assault of a child after one victim came forward earlier this month. Diaz-Suarez, of the 300 block of N. Inland Avenue, was arrested last week and is being held in Cook County Jail until his next court appearance on Feb. 21.
The charges stem from abuse reports involving two victims. One alleged abuse in Palatine in 2018, while the second, a family member of the first, reported incidents from 2016. The Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved the felony charges.
